With it, you can sort your audio database in no time. As long as you have an active internet connection, you can play files directly from the Cloud.Īdd to this some of the best library management features and little things like the automatic download of missing album covers from Amazon and Last.fm, and it’s easy to see why many prefer Clementine to other music players. Thanks to this you don’t even need to have music on your hard drive. You can also modify your Clementine app to give it access to your Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox Amazon Cloud, etc. You can listen to Spotify, SKY.fm, Soundcloud, etc.In addition, you can manually search audio content from these players and websites using Clementine’s file manager. It allows you to listen to the radio from different streaming services.

Its user interface may not be as flashy as some other players, but this software relies much more on its technical features.

In addition, Foobar2000 can open compressed files like ZIP and 7z without asking you to extract them first.Ĭlementine is a modern open-source app for Windows 10 that has plenty of attractive features. It supports a wide range of audio formats and allows you to easily rip your audio disks. You can sort your messy library in an instant by tagging all the incomplete audio files with missing metadata and erasing duplicate tracks from your playlists and libraries. The best thing about it is library management. This program has a simplistic interface, which some may not find attractive, but it serves its purpose well. On top of that, the built-in Party Mode will automatically manage and play appropriate music on special occasions without making any changes to your library, history, or metadata.įoobar2000 has had a huge fan following ever since it first appeared. MediaMonkey can burn Audio CDs and DVDs, sync your library, convert audio files, manage the volume, and so much more. Once it identifies the tracks that lack metadata, it will turn to the Internet and fill in the missing information. It automatically tags both audio and video files with important metadata. So there still are many functions. This app is one of the best for organizing your library. Theoritically, all components I present here (iPod, hotkeys, etc.) work with this interface, except the facets (hence everything related to the search/playlist/library behaviour in the "Winamp-like layout" does not apply). To return to the default UI, just go to Menu>Preferences, section "Display", and chose the Defaut User Interface, then restart foobar.ģ. Your configuration in the default UI will be saved.

Chose a skin (winamp is the only working for me) in the components\skins\ folder. At startup, it will ask you which UI you want, then chose "gfx_window". Paste both in the foobar2000\component\ folders.Ģ. There's an awesome player called, wait for it, Winamp =)Įxtract the archive: you should have a file called foo_ui_gfx.dll and a " skins" folder. It doesn't seem to add any usability, it's merely the contrary. You probably won't find themes to apply apart from the default one.

This UI is old (last update 2006) and not developed or supported any more.

It's a graphic (contrary to the other ones which are text-based), skinnable, interface. The main user interfaces (more about UIs here) are columns_UI and default_UI, but there is another one called UI GFX. The columns UI is less simple that the default UI to use, and needs a little more time to get used to.
